Emirates Cup: Arsenal vs Lion: Match preview

Arsenal take on Lyon in the Emirates Cup with a hope to seek a confidence boost ahead of the new Premier Leageu season. The Gunners have enjoyed a strong pre-season having won three out of four matches. Unai Emery’s side could secure wins over Colorado, Bayern Munich and Fiorentina as well as drew 2-2 with Real Madrid. Meanwhile Lyon have lost their first two friendlies of the summer. They lost 4-3 to Genoa in their previous friendly and suffered a 2-1 defeat against Swiss team Servette.
