Arsenal given MAJOR injury boost as star returns to training ahead of Fulham clash

Gabriel Jesus has rejoined Arsenal's training sessions after an earlier knee injury that occurred prior to the Community Shield at the end of July.

The Brazilian underwent minor surgery to address a persistent concern stemming from a medial collateral ligament injury sustained during last year's World Cup.

However, his return seems to be drawing closer. Footage from Sky Sports captured the attacker participating in warm-ups before the team's training.

Mikel Arteta explained that the decision for the procedure was based on what was best for the player's recovery. Given the tight timeline, it would be remarkable if Jesus manages to recover in order to be ready for the upcoming Fulham match on Saturday, August 26.

Meanwhile, reports suggest that Jesus' comeback might be on time for the meeting against Manchester United before the international break, allowing more time for his fitness to be further honed.

Furthermore, Mikel Arteta is scheduled to hold a pre-match conference tomorrow, where he is likely to offer an update on the Gunners' star.
