Arsenal have received a huge injury blow as the club's newcomer Jurrien Timber could noe sidelined for the whole season.
The player suffered an injury setback during his Premier League debut against Nottingham Forest, causing concern for the Gunners. The Dutch player was hurt in a tackle late in the first half but managed to return for the second half. However, his time on the field was short-lived.
Timber went down and received medical attention, seemingly for an issue with his right knee, before ultimately being substituted. The adaptable defender, who was positioned at left back and had been performing admirably, had to exit the match due to the injury.
Now, sports journalist James Benge has provided a fresh update on Timber's situation, claiming that the player could miss the club's match until the end of the 2023/24 campaign.
