Pundit Stewart Robson believes that Phil Foden should be in Manchester City's starting XI ahead of Jack Grealish.
In the recent Community Shield match against Arsenal, Grealish started the game but was replaced by Foden in the 58th minute after a 1-1 draw that led to a penalty shootout.
Looking forward to the upcoming Premier League season, Robson expressed his opinion on which of the two English players he thinks should be given more preference in the starting squad.
Speaking on the latest video on the ESPN FC YouTube channel, the pundit shared his thoughts on the Citizens' duo, saying (via Manchester City News): “I think Foden is a better player than Grealish."
“I haven’t seen Grealish go past anyone whenever I’ve watched him play in the last six months or so, whereas Foden just gave them a bit more dynamism when he came on and changed the game,” he added.
