According to Fabrizio Romano, Juventus are leaning towards retaining Adrien Rabiot, despite ongoing transfer rumors connecting him with Manchester United.
The France international's contract with the Serie A giants is set to expire at the end of the current season, and there have been speculations about the interest of the Red Devils and Newcastle United in his situation, as reported by Calciomercato.
However, in an exclusive statement provided to the Daily Briefing, Romano clarified that there are currently no active discussions or developments regarding the 28-year-old's potential transfer to other clubs.
Instead, Bianconeri appears inclined to make efforts to extend the contract of the former Paris Saint-Germain player.
“We’re once again seeing Adrien Rabiot linked with Premier League clubs, but honestly there is no truth to the rumours at all. There are no talks ongoing now, no decision will be made now." the Italian transfer expert said.
“Juventus are considering to offer a new deal to Rabiot in the next months as he’s key player for them, they really want Adrien to stay so I’m sure they will push for it.”
