Ex-Juventus coach Marcello Lippi is supporting the club's pursuit of Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku.
The 75-year-old believes that the Blegium international would be a good fit for Juventus coach Max Allegri's system. Lippi stated to Tag24 that Lukaku is a top-quality striker who would be suitable not only for Juventus but for any elite club.
He acknowledged that the possibility of the Chelsea man joining Juventus is still uncertain but expressed confidence that the club's management would make an effort to sign him.
"If there is the possibility, the Juventus management will try for him.
"For Allegri it would be an important reinforcement for next season."
