Reece James has shared a mysterious injury update following Chelsea's announcement regarding his recovery and the fitness status of other players ahead of the Aston Villa match.
The Blues are grappling with a significant injury list, which includes key players like the England international, Christopher Nkunku, and Moises Caicedo.
James and Nkunku have been sidelined with long-term injuries, while Caicedo missed the Bournemouth game due to a minor knee problem he picked up during international duty.
Throughout the week, the Ecuadorian star was absent from training, but manager Mauricio Pochettino provided an optimistic update regarding his potential availability for the upcoming weekend.
"I think Reece and [Carney] Chukwuemeka and also [Trevoh] Chalobah are very close to start training with the team." the manager said.
In light of the official injury updates and the Argentine coach's remarks, it appears that the defender has conveyed his own injury message on social media.
On his Instagram account, the player shared a story originally posted by Odell Beckham Jr., which read: "God heard you, just be patient."
