Last term, Manchester City were crowned as champions season, clinching their fifth consecutive title, with Arsenal, Liverpool and Aston Villa following them in the top four.
Meanwhile, Luton Town, Burnley and Sheffield United were relegated to the second division, giving up their place to the promoted teams Leicester City, Ipswich Town and Southampton.

Champions League group stage play is guaranteed for the top four teams in the league next season. The team that finishes in fifth position and the FA Cup champion both go straight to the group stage of the Europa League.
While the 6th team of the league qualifies for UEFA Conference League.
English Premier League relegation 2024/25
The Premier League's worst three teams are relegated to the Championship, while the top two teams from the Championship are promoted to the Premier League, with an extra team promoted following a series of play-offs between the third, fourth, fifth, and sixth ranked clubs.
