Erling Haaland makes stunning admission on Leicester City's Jamie Vardy

Erling Haaland has admitted that he has been studying the play of Leicester City striker Jamie Vardy. The Norwegian forward, who is wanted by most of the big-name clubs in the world, has scored an astonishing 109 goals in 106 games for current club Borussia Dortmund and former side RB Salzburg. And Haaland claims he’s been observing Vardy’s game closely to help his improvement.

“I’ve not been studying but I’ve been watching a lot of players,” he told Sky Sports.   “Let’s take an example: the run in behind from the centre-back when the number 10 has the ball. You maybe have the best in the world on that, Jamie Vardy, I’ve been looking a lot at him on exactly this.   “I’m always watching a lot of football. I go home on Sunday and I watch football all day, that’s what I’ve always been like.”
