Barcelona traveled to USA for their pre-season tour and played against Napoli on Wednesday night. With the help of Sergio Busquets and Ivan Rakitic's goals, the Catalan side won 2-1 over the Serie A side.
After the game, Valverde was yet again asked about Neymar and Philippe Coutinho as the speculations have grown that Coutinho is on his way to join Arsenal on loan, while Neymar is on his way to make his return to Camp Nou.
Valverde admitted that he is unsure what will happen with Coutinho and Neymar's situation.
“We do not know what is going to happen with Coutinho, but we have the same plan as with Vidal and Arthur, who will be entering little by little, to see if Saturday can have minutes," said Valverde.
"He is a player of ours who has helped us a lot and we hope he will continue to do so, we don't have to think otherwise.
"The last time in this stadium I had to answer many questions about Neymar and now, again.
"We do not know what will happen. He is with another team and we don't talk about players from other teams. Madrid? One day is one thing and tomorrow will be another."
