EURO 2020 Round of 16!
Wales will take on Denmark in the first round of 16 game in EURO 2020, on Saturday, June 26, at Johan Cruijff ArenA, Amsterdam, Netherlands.
Both Wales and Denmark finished second in their groups, Group A and B respectively, and will face to find out which team qualifies for the quarter-finals.
Denmark have won three out of their last six matches, lost two and drew one, while Wales picked up two wins, draws and defeats in their last six games.
Here is what the head coaches have said.
Wales manager, Rob Page: "We're all ambitious and we want to go as far as we can, but we're not naive going into this game. We've watched Denmark play in their most recent game and you can't be anything other than impressed by what they're doing. We also know that, on our day, we can give anyone a good game."
Kasper Hjulmand, Denmark boss: "We have prepared well and feel totally ready for all scenarios. All in all, we are well prepared and are looking forward to it."
Possible lineups for the teams.
Wales Starting XI: Ward; Roberts, Mepham, Rodon, B. Davies; Morrell, Allen; Bale, Ramsey, James; Moore
Denmark Starting XI: Schmeichel; Vestergaard, Kjaer, Christensen; Maehle, Wass, Hojbjerg, Delaney; Poulsen, Damsgaard, Braithwaite
Wales would be the nominal host on Saturday, which might give them a psychological advantage, however our prediction is that Denmark will pick up a 1-0 win.
