Burnley winger Dwight McNeil, who is reported to be linked with Everton, could be sold by his club, but only for a sum akin to a “war chest”, according to
The Mirror.
The 20-year-old has impressed with his form at Turf Moor over the past 18 months, establishing himself as a key member of Sean Dyche’s squad this campiagn.
He has featured in 58 games for the the Clarets since his arrival, with scoring 5 goals and assisting 10 times.
And a number of big name clubs have been linked with McNeil’s services including Everton, Wolves, Leicester City, Manchester United and Juventus.

Speaking about McNeil, Burnley boss Sean Dyche said:
“There’s a reality when players come in, particularly when we’ve developed them as lower-league players for less money or the likes of Dwight McNeil.
“But I can assure you it will only happen if the numbers are correct.
“The numbers now in our world are high and we’re in a position to say no, we don’t need to sell anyone.
“So if anyone wants to come for any of our players, they had better have a war chest.”
