Everton have not been in their best form during the ongoing 2022/23 season. The Toffees are currently sitting in 17th place in the Premier League table near the relegation zone.
A lot of work has to be done at Goodison Park in order to lift the club into a more favorable position and secure a place in the domestic top tier for the next term. Frank Lampard will now have a one-month break to work with the squad for the rest of the season.
Everton are expected to return to action following the World Cup 2022 which will take place from November 20 to December 18 in Qatar. Their first Premier League fixture will take place right after Christmas.
