Everton are reportedly set to face a battle with Roma, AC Milan and West Ham United for signing Borussia Dortmund midfielder Mario Gotze on a free transfer this summer.
The 27-year-old is expected to depart from Signal Iduna Park when his contract expires on June 30, with a bunch of clubs set to fight it out for him.
As Italian newspaper Corriere dello Sport claim, Gotze's agent has already held talks with Roma director Gianluca Petrachi, however, they will face competition from Premier League sides Everton and West Ham, who have also been reported to be interested in his services.

Gotze was diagnosed with rare metabolic illness back in 2017, which resulted him missing a large part of the 2016-17 season.
However, he has been working his way back to full fitness, and this season Gotze has scored three goals in 13 appearances for Dortmund.
