Ex-boss David Moyes takes swipe at Manchester United

Ex-Manchester United boss David Moyes has taken swipe at the club, insisting the club haven’t progressed since his sacking in 2014. The Old Trafford club have struggled since Sir Alex Ferguson called time on his career in 2013. Moyes has become Ferguson’s replacement. However, just nine months later the Scot was sacked. Since his departure, Louis van Gaal, Jose Mourinho and Ole Gunnar Solskjaer have all struggled to return United their glory days. “I feel that since I took over to where they are just now, I don’t think there’s an awful lot of difference,” he told TalkSport. “When I took over it was needing a change and needing a turnaround of players, and that was all going to take time. I feel like in the four years or so since I was managing there, it’s probably not moved on much more. It’s quite similar, they’re still saying there need to change and has to be things done. That time since I left hasn’t been used awfully well.” United currently sitting in the sixth place in the Premier League table and look set to miss out on Champions League next season. The Red Devils are three points behind fourth-placed Chelsea with just two fixtures remaining.
