Ex-Chelsea star Andriy Shevchenko recalling his time for the Blues

Andriy Shevchenko believes he could win more trophies with Chelsea. Ukraine national team head coach joined the Blues in 2006, being one of the best players in the world at that moment.  Shevchenko had won 2 Champions League titles with AC Milan and fans had massive expectations for him. No surprise that Roman Abramovic paid more than €44 mln for the 2004 Ballon d’Or winner.  However, Shevchenko failed to show his true class in West London. He had two seasons in the Premier League and then returned to AC Milan on loan to eventually leave Chelsea in 2009.  Speaking to Vbet during the “Champions Call” Shevchenko recalled his time at Chelsea.  "That Chelsea team should have won a lot more. We came very close to winning the Champions League. It wasn't an easy time for me, due to injuries, but I enjoyed the club, fans and players." he said.  The Ukraine national team has been sensational under Shevchenko in European qualifiers. They were the best team in the same group with Cristiano Ronaldo’s Portugal and Serbia and finished the campaign without a single loss.
