Former Chelsea star Tammy Abraham has opened up on his time at Stamford Bridge and revealed that the club defender Reece James would like to see him back at the team.
Roma striker has been the subject of recent speculation about a potential return to the Premier League amid Aston Villa interest.
Abraham has performed well since joining the Serie A side, contributing to their victory in the UEFA Europa Conference League last season and scoring a total of 27 goals in his debut season. This term, he has nine goals and seven assists across all competitions.
Currently, Roma are vying for a spot in the Europa League final, and Abraham hopes to help them secure another European trophy. Whether or not Abraham is interested in returning to the Premier League at the end of the season remains uncertain.
“I still talk to so many Chelsea players, James always tells me to come back,” the player said, via Caught Offside.
“We grew up together and have known each other for years – players like [Mason] Mount, [Declan] Rice and [Eddie] Nketiah.”
While Chelsea could benefit from a consistent goal scorer like Tammy Abraham, there haven't been any solid connections or rumors linking him to a return to the club in recent weeks.
