Ex-Man Utd star urges Ole Gunnar Solskjaer to ignore potential concern and “break the bank” for the attacker

Former Manchester United man Luke Chadwick thinks the club should go for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland, despite the potential concern of having to work with his agent, Mino Raiola. The Red Devils, previously being heavily linked with Haaland, have not cooled their interest in the Norwegian attacker. But their relationship with Raiola due to Paul Pogba case could impact on the possibility of the transfer. However, Chadwick thinks it might be easier with Haaland as the 20-year-old will be ready to make a move to Old Trafford. “I think in normal circumstances, when you’re talking about a player who might come in and be a squad player and not play every single game then you might be worried about his agent, but in the case of Haaland, if I were Ole it wouldn’t bother me to have to deal with him,” he told CaughtOffside. “Obviously he’s someone who’s not worked the best with United in the past. But I think if you get Haaland through the door you’re getting someone very special. “In the case of Manchester United where they’re at, probably the perfect man in terms of someone who’s proved he’ll score a high volume of goals. It does change everything if you have someone scoring 20-30 goals a season – a young man who’s got all the tools really. “If United could sign one player this summer I’d break the bank to get Haaland in, because I can’t think of anyone who would fit the mould better in terms of what they need in this time.”
