Arsenal kicked off the new 2023/24 season with a Premier League win over Nottingham Forest as they celebrated a 2-1 victory.
Oleksandr Zinchenko missed the game due to an injury, however, he is close to making his return.
The 2022/23 season was a successful one for the Gunners, as they finished second in the league table and will compete in the Champions League in 2023/24 season.
Ahead of the 2023/24 campaign, Mikel Arteta's side beat Manchester City in Community Shield on penalties and took the trophy. Arsenal will be hoping that the Communtiy Shield will not be the only trophy that they win this season.

The Gunners are preparing for a challenging 2023/24 campaign as they will compete in the Champions League. Manchester City became the champions during the previous season and are currently favorites to win the UCL once again.
Ahead of the kick-off of the tournament, VBET News spoke exclusively with Oleksandr Zinchenko. The 26-year-old revealed that he is excited to play in the tournament.
"Yes, I am excited for the Champions League. I can't wait to play in this competition and obviously, this is the best competition in the football world I would say, because the best teams are playing against each other. So it is always nice to play and be involved in this competition," Zinchenko told VBET News.

During the 2023 summer transfer window, Mikel Arteta's side welcomed several high profile names, including Kai Havertz, Declan Rice and Jurrien Timber. The Gunners sealed the deal for goalkeeper David Raya on Tuesday, August 15, 2023, as well.
Speaking on the newcomers, Zinchenko told VBET News: "Amazing players, amazing guys. For sure they are going to help to lift Arsenal to another level. So I am very excited to play with all of them."
The most awaited football awards is ofcourse Ballon d'Or. During the previous season, Kylian Mbappe, Lionel Messi as well as Erling Haaland had an impressive season.
Haaland joined City in the summer of 2022 and broke numerous records, won the treble including Champions League, Premier League and FA Cup. Meanwhile, Messi became a World Cup champion.
Mbappe had an impressive season as well as France reached the World Cup for the second time in a row and came close to winning it once again.
When asked about who will win the Ballon d'Or, Zinchenko said via VBET News: "I think the Ballon d'Or will be between Lionel Messi, Erling Haaland, and Kylian Mbappe. So, obviously, these three had an incredible season and yea let's see."
