EXCLUSIVE: Mkhitaryan's national team-mate Gevorg Ghazaryan: “Henrikh shouldn’t play against Qarabag in UEL”

Arsenal midfielder Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s national team-mate has commented on Armenia’s 2-1 win against Liechtenstein in yesterday’s Nations League match. The player has also expressed his opinion on Henrikh Mkhitaryan’s participation in Arsenal’s Europa League match against Qarabaq. Azerbaijan have banned Armenians from entering the country over tensions between the bordering rivals so Mkhitaryan's will most likely be restricted of playing Arsenal match against Qarabag. To the question, if Mkhitaryan needs to travel to play against the Azerbaijani club, Ghazaryan said. “I think Henrikh shouldn’t play that match.” On Arsenal fixture against Sporting, the player added: “He has already been in Portugal before for two times and played against Porto and Benfica. Of, course we’ll meet him in Portugal.”
