Benfica and Ukraine national team forward Roman Yaremchuk has opened up on his possible move to AC Milan.
The 25-year-old has been linked with the Serie A side during the summer transfer window. The Rossoneri were
reportedly making contacts with Belgian club Gent for the attacker's transfer.
Despite the failed transfer, Milan remain interested in the Ukraine international, with the Italian reports
claiming that they are keeping an eye on the striker for January.
However, in an exclusive interview with
VbetNews.com, Yaremchuk has revealed that at this moment he is focused on his settlement at the Portuguese team.
“Now I don’t have such a dream - to play for AC Milan. My dream now is to adapt to Benfica as soon as possible and show my best football," he said.
Yaremchuk ended up joining Benfica for a €17m transfer fee in the summer of 2021.The 25-year-old has signed a five-year contract until 2026 with a release clause valued at 100 million euros.
