Fabrizio Romano has confirmed that Ilkay Gundogan remains 'as priority target' for FC Barcelona this summer.
According to the Italian transfer expert, the midfielder could have potentially transferred to Camp Nou in the upcoming window, however, the player has not yet made a decision regarding his future.
German international is in the final year of his contract, and the Premier League giants are yet to hold discussions over a new deal.
As per the journalist, the Catalan outfit are keen for the 32-year-old midfielder to join their squad next season and are passionate about holding the Cityzens' star within their grasp. Meanwhile, Gundogan is reported to be fully focused on the current campaign and won’t rush things.
