Liverpool have agreed on personal terms with RB Leipzig centre-back Ibrahima Konate, according to Fabrizio Romano. Konate is widely regarded as one of the most promising young defenders in the Bundesliga at the moment. While injuries have restricted the youngster to just 92 appearances in four seasons with Leipzig, he is still rated tremendously highly. "Ibrahima Konaté to Liverpool, here we go soon! The deal is set to be completed, personal terms agreed on a five-years contract. Liverpool will pay the release clause to RB Leipzig in the next days [around €35m] in order to finalize the signing of Konaté, " Romano wrote on Twitter.
