Sports journalist Fabrizio Romano has provided an update on N'Golo Kante's future at Chelsea amid the player's latest form.
Kane returned to the pitch after a long-term injury to take part in a behind-closed-doors friendly with the Blues' squad. The player will continue his recovery process ahead of the comeback to the first team squad.
According to Romano, Chelsea are now in negotiations over Kante's contract extension, the talks are in the final stages.
The journalist has added that the new contract will see Kante staying at Stamford Bridge for two more seasons, with an option for a further one.
