Fabrizio Romano provides transfer update on Liverpool target Youri Tielemans

Fabrizio Romano has provided a transfer update on Leicester's Youri Tielemans amid Liverpool interst. The Reds have been reportedly liked with the move for the Belgium international, while now sports journalist claims the Foxes have no intention of selling their man on the cheap this summer. Moreover, Romano claims Leicester are set to offer a new contract to the 24-year-old. “In the case of players like Tielemans, it is complicated because Leicester are offering him a new contract,” he told Anfield Watch. “But, signing Tielemans, not just for Liverpool, but for any club this summer, means spending a lot of money. I think more than €50-60 million. “It is not easy [for most clubs to sign Tielemans] this summer [because of Leicester’s asking price].”
