Fabrizio Romano provides update on Philippe Coutinho future at Aston Villa

Steven Gerrard would love to see Philippe Coutinho staying at Aston Villa, according to sports journalist Fabrizio Romano. The Brazilian star currently plays at Villa Park on loan from Barcelona till the end of the season. However, Romano claims that the Villa board could decide to keep him on a permanent basis. The buy clause option would be available for €40m. Now it's up to the Premier League side as Barcelona want to sell Coutinho.
