Fabrizio Romano has given an update on Granit Xhaka's future at Arsenal. Xhaka's contract with club expires in the summer of 2024.
According to Romano, the Gunners star is set to leave the club at the end of the season as no negotiations have taken plans over a new deal.
Bundesliga side Bayer Leverkusen are in talks to sign Xhaka and as per Romano, personal terms have almost been agreed over a deal that will keep the player at the club until 2027.
Xhaka has been with the club since 2016 and he has made 295 appearances in which he has scored 21 goals and provided 29 assists.
