Fabrizio Romano reveals what he knows about Antonio Conte's mood at Tottenham

Transfer expert Fabrizio Romano has revealed that Antonio Conte is happy at Tottenham and with the players he has. The Italian boss was not too critical of his side in his post-match press conference after the 3-2 defeat to Southampton, insisting that he could not have asked for more in terms of effort or commitment from his players (Football.London). But Romano has said that despite what unfolded on Wednesday, Conte is happy at Spurs and expects the club to back him in the summer transfer window. The journalist said on Rio Ferdinands Presents FIVE:

“Antonio is a fighter, so he’s together with the team and he’s together with the club.   “He expects an important summer for Tottenham, so the real mission will be in the summer to rebuild for Spurs with Antonio Conte.    “But in the end, he’s happy with the atmosphere he feels is at the club, I’m told, and in the dressing room too.”
