Benjamin Mendy appeared to swing a punch at Erik Lamela-and there are calls for the Manchester City star to be banned.
As Spurs pushed for an equaliser late on in the Premier League game, Mendy decided to shepherd the ball out of play.
Lamela rushed in and appeared to have several taps on the French defender's neck.
This led to a furious reaction from Mendy, who wildly swung, and thankfully missed, the Spurs midfielder.
Many on social media believe the intent justifies punishment.
