Featherstone and York have been dealt suspension blows on the eve of the new season as Dane Chisholm and Connor Robinson have been suspended.
The 29-year-old Chisholm will miss Featherstone’s games against Halifax, Bradford and London after being charged with a Grade C dangerous lift in their friendly against Leeds on Friday.
However, he is free to play in the Championship opener against Batley this weekend.
Meantime, York half-back Connor Robinson has been suspended for one match for punching in the friendly against Bradford on Sunday.
The game was cut short after tempers boiled over late on, which led Robinson and half-back partner Ben Johnston to get sent from the field.
Robinson has copped a Grade B charge – and will miss York’s round two game against Bradford.
