Liverpool have changed a lot after the arrival of Jurgen Klopp. The Reds have won Premier League after 30-year wait. They also beat Tottenham in the final to clinch Champions League title. The early signs suggest Liverpool could retain their top-flight crown, with Klopp’s men just one point off the top. Between Klopp and sporting director Michael Edwards, the champions have developed an unerring reputation in the transfer market. Here are some of the targets Klopp and Edwards could bring to Anfield in 2021. Kylian Mbappe has been linked with a move to Liverpool and they could bring the PSG star in. The Reds are so intent on securing the superstar in the future that they are already plotting to raise funds. It has been claimed the forward will look to leave PSG next summer. Dayot Upamecano would fill the void left by Virgil van Dijk, who suffered an injury and expected to miss the rest of the season. The 22-year-old has a release clause €38million release clause that becomes active at the end of the season. Ben White continued to shine in the top-flight after impressing on-loan with Leeds in the Championship. The 23-year-old has recently signed a new contract with the Seagulls and could cash in if a substantial bid is made. Schalke defender Ozan Kabak could be available for around £35million. The Turkish international has impressed in the Bundesliga and at just 20, could be a lynchpin of Liverpool’s defence for a decade. David Alaba's contract at the Allianz Arena expires next summer and after several rounds of talks, he looks set to leave on a free. The versatile Austrian can play anywhere along the back-four and could provide valuable depth to the squad.
