Former Liverpool star Michael Robinson passes away at 61

Former Liverpool and Republic of Ireland player Michael Robinson has passed away at the age of 61. Robinson won the league title and European Cup with Liverpool in 1984, and 24 caps for the Republic of Ireland. The former Liverpool star had been suffering from skin cancer. His family confirmed the news on social media, on Tuesday morning. They wrote: “With tremendous sadness we inform you of Michael's death. It leaves us with a great emptiness, but also countless memories, full of the same love that you have shown him. We will be eternally grateful to you for making this man SO HAPPY, he never walked alone. Thank you." Source: The Mirror
