Former Crystal Palace owner Simon Jordan says that Jurgen Klopp will leave the Reds “as soon as a better opportunity than Liverpool comes along”.
Speaking to
TalkSport, Jordan said: "He’s a football manager! The one thing a football manager cares about is himself first, his players second and the opportunity that exists for him third.
"Does Klopp prioritise himself? Of course, they all do! I think he puts the needs of the team and himself first. That’s his charge.
"But his football manager perspective is, he left [Borussia] Dortmund to come to Liverpool because it was a better opportunity and believe me, believe me, as sure as day follows night, as soon as a better opportunity than Liverpool comes along for him, he’ll be off.
"That’s what football managers do," Jordan added.
Jurgen Klopp left Dortmund back in 2015, with having won two Bundesliga titles, one DFB Pokal, one German Supercup as well as was a Champions League runner-up in the 2012-13 season.
In 2015, Klopp joined Premier League side Liverpool. After winning Champions League last season, currently the German manager’s side are having an impressive season as they are leading the Premier League table with an unbeaten run.
