Crystal Palace are reportedly interested in Chelsea youngster Conor Gallagher. The youngster spent last season on loan at West Bromwich Albion, enjoying a debut season in the Premier League. He is set to return to Stamford Bridge ahead of next season following the Baggies’ relegation to the Championship. However, according to The Sun, the Eagles are preparing a £15m bid for Gallagher in the hope that would tempt Thomas Tuchel into selling this summer. The young Englishman has yet to make his debut for the Blues and has four years left to run on his Chelsea deal having penned a new contract ahead of his switch to the Midlands. It remains to be seen whether Palace’s £15m bid would be enough as Steve Parish is keen to install former Blues’ boss Frank Lampard as head coach to push a deal through.
