Frank Lampard responds to Christian Pulisic question after Valencia defeat

Frank Lampard was asked about Christian Pulisic’s future after he didn’t use the USA winger in Chelsea’s defeat to Valencia. Pulisic was on the bench when Chelsea eventually lost 1-0 in their Champions League opener to Valencia, thanks to Rodrigo’s second-half strike. Lampard said of Pulisic: "He is in the plans. We have got the squad and the wingers to choose from. With Pedro’s experience in the Champions League, it was a decision to make, but Christian is well in the plans.” The 21-year-old signed for Chelsea in January but only joined up with his new team-mates this summer.
