Frank Lampard slams Chelsea fans who aimed ‘pikeys’ chant

Chelsea boss Frank Lampard blasted fans who sang about “pikeys” in a chant aimed at West Ham. Some of the Blues fans have been signing the offensive lyrics for some years. The song features Lampard’s name but the Blues boss said: “None of us want it. I’ve said this before here. “I will always back the Chelsea fans in terms of how they support us. But we don’t want to have chants and stuff that are discriminatory to anyone. I think we all need to look at it. “It is a wider problem than Chelsea, without a doubt, but it should not stop us talking about it.” The Blues won back-to-back Premier League games under Frank Lampard for the first time with a 4-1 win at Southampton.
