Frank Lampard speaks on Chelsea's away win against Ajax

Frank Lampard says he's proud of his team and labels players' performance as 'absolutely top all over the pitch'. Blues managed to beat Ajax in Amsterdam and return to London with very important three points. At this moment, both Chelsea and Ajax have 6 points and are leading in their group (Valencia could reach them if they beat LOSC Lille). "I'm so happy, I knew how tough this game would be." Lampard told BT Sports after the match. "To play and beat them and deserve to beat them means we are absolutely top all over the pitch. I was so, so proud of the performance." he added. Lampard was also praised for his substitutions that made a massive impact to the game. Michy Batshuayi, who came off as a sub in the second half, scored the only goal of the match four minutes before the stoppage time. "The other two (Giroud and Batshuayi) stay patient, work hard, support the group and have talent. He's waited for his moment and fully deserved it," Blues coach added.
