Fulham's Joao Palhinha has admitted that playing with Cristiano Ronaldo for Portugal National team was a ‘dream’ come true.
The 27-year-old made 15 appearances under Fernando Santos since his idebut in 2021.
Palhinha, who joined the newly-promoted Premier League side in July, confessed he watched Manchester United's star on TV when he was a child and now playing alongside him is 'very cool'.
Speaking to talkSPORT ahead of the Bournemouth clash on Saturday, the midfielder stated:
“For all players in the national team, and for Manchester United players, everyone enjoys training with him and playing with him.
“When I was a boy, I watched him on TV and now I play with him. It is very cool.
“It is a dream I had in my life, so it’s very good for me. It’s very good for Portugal to have a player like him in our country.”
