Flamengo star Gabriel Barbosa, nicknamed Gabigol, has revealed that he would like to play along with Roberto Firmino in the future.
Gabigol scored a double in Flamengo's 2-1 win over River Plate in the Copa Libertadores final and qualified for the FIFA Club World Cup semi-final, where they might face Liverpool in the final.
Speaking exclusively with The Sun, Barbosa said: “Firmino is great, I really admire him. He’s been successful for many years in Europe.
“He is a powerful forward and he has been great for Brazil. He is an inspiration that I look up to.
“It would be a pleasure to play with him. Maybe we could team up for Brazil in the future and Liverpool is a team that everyone wants to play for.”
