Gabriel Jesus has admitted his frustrations over his lack of opportunities at Manchester City but recognizes it will be hard to beat Sergio Aguero.
The 22-year-old has struggled to keep his place in Pep Guardiola’s side since joining in 2017, finding himself behind Aguero in the pecking order.
He scored 48 goals in 106 appearances, however, starts have been rare for the Brazil international.
"I'm over the 'I have to wait' phase," Jesus told Esporte Interativo (via The Mail ). I've been here for almost three years, it's my fourth season, and that makes me want to play more.
"Obviously it's very hard to compete for a place with Aguero, the biggest legend of this club... I do understand Pep's decisions and respect Sergio, his history here and what he's doing now."
