Gabriel Martinelli has provided a fitness update on himself ahead of Arsenal's Europa League clash with Slavia Praha. The Gunners will face Praha in the UEL quarter-final second leg on Thursday. First leg between the clubs ended in a 1-1 draw.
Martinelli was handed his first Premier League start since late January as the Gunners faced Sheffield United. The 19-year-old didn't disappoint and also scored a goal as Mikel Arteta's side celebrated a 3-0 victory with Alexandre Lacazette having scored a double.
However, Martinelli was replaced at the 83rd minute and there may have been questions over whether he will be able to play on Thursday night.
Speaking to the Gunners'
official website, the Arsenal youngster said: "I am feeling a bit tired but I'm so happy with the goal and even happier with the victory and the three points.
"I work every single day in training, you need to prepare yourself because when Mikel [Arteta] needs you, you need to be there to play and show something."
Asked about whether he had an injury, he replied: "No, I am alright to play on Thursday."
