Georginio Wijnaldum has taken to Twitter to send a message to his former Liverpool teammate Sadio Mane following the Africa Cup of Nations final. Mane became AFCON 2021 champions with Senegal as they beat Egypt in the final on Sunday with a 4-2 victory on penalties as the Reds star scored the winning penalty. Taking to Twitter, Wijnaldum shared a video with a caption: "Some great friends and amazing players in the AFCON final yesterday, but only one team could win! Congrats Sadio, @IGanaGueye , @Abdou_diallo_ and the whole Senegal team for this historic win and Sadio, you know I always believed in you taking penalties."
