Giannis Antetokounmpo sends message to Bucks ahead of Heat game

Giannis Antetokounmpo and the Milwaukee Bucks will face the Miami Heat in the opening round of the playoffs. Bucks will be looking to exact some revenge against the defending Eastern Conference champions after last season’s disappointment, and Antetokounmpo himself did not shy away from the redemption narrative. The Greek Freak admitted that this isn’t just going to be like any other series for the Bucks: “Obviously everybody on the team has a little bit of extra motivation,” Giannis said, as per CBS Miami. Milwaukee’s season came to an end last year when Heat took them down in the second round. It was a major disappointment following what was a tremendous regular-season campaign for the Bucks.
