Gini Wijnaldum has reportedly already agreed over a move in this summer's transfer window.
The 30-year-old has been linked with a move to Barcelona for quite a long time, but has reportedly agreed to join Inter Milan.
Wijnaldum's contract expires this summer, and no progress has been made over a new deal for the Dutch international. And Barcelona boss Ronald Koeman has been desperate to reunite with the player he worked with an international level.
However, according to Sport Mediaset, cited by
FC Inter 1908, Wijnaldum could be heading to Serie A, as he 'already has a handshake' with Inter's CEO Giuseppe Marotta.
The website quotes Claudio Raimond of
Sport Mediaset saying:
"It’s a low-profile and free agents market: Marotta therefore looks to Georginio Wijnaldum.
“From what I know Inter already have a handshake with Wijnaldum, already from last year. Then they decided to do it on a free transfer.”
