Pep Guardiola has shared his praise for Kalvin Phillips following Manchester City's game with Bristol City.
The Citizens celebrated a 3 - 0 victory over the rivals in the FA Cup fifth round on Tuesday evening. Phil Foden and Kevin De Bruyne scored to help their team reach the quarter-finals of the domestic competition.
Phillips returned to action for the midweek's game as a starter after a long-term injury. After the win, Guardiola admitted it was important to welcome the midfielder back to the squad.
"He made 90 minutes, good ones, with good actions. It's important to us that he's back," the City manager said, via ITV Football.
