Granit Xhaka has taken to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CYr_q6HqqTp/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading">his Instagram</a> to apologise to Arsenal fans after recieving a red card against Liverpool.

Arsenal played a 0-0 draw with Liverpool in the EFL Cup semi-final on Thursday.

In the 24th minute of the clash Xhaka was sent off for a foul against Diogo Jota and left Gunners with ten men.

After the game the Swiss international took to <a href="https://www.instagram.com/p/CYr_q6HqqTp/?utm_source=ig_embed&amp;utm_campaign=loading">his Instagram</a> to write:
