Paul Robinson is happy to hear Jarrod Bowen’s injury is not as bad as first feared for West Ham.
As the club's head of medical Richard Collinge
confirmed, the forward had suffered 'no significant injury' at Anfield.
And according to
The Athletic‘s Roshane Thomas, Bowen is expected to miss just two games.
When asked for his reaction to the news, Robinson said. (via Football Insider)
“That’s great news for David Moyes.
“It would have been a massive blow for them if he was ruled out for a significant period.
“It did not look great at all when he walked off. I feared the worst. It looked like a bad injury.
“To hear it is not as bad as first thought is fantastic news for them.
“West Ham rely heavily on [Michail] Antonio and Bowen. They have struggled for goals in recent weeks so to lose him for a while would have been a big, big blow.”
The Irons are set to face Sevilla on Thursday before hosting Aston Villa at the London Stadium on Sunday.
