Hakim Ziyech mocks Al-Nassr in a new Instagram story after his move to the club collapsed due to a rumored knee problem revealed during his medicals.
The Chelsea winger posted a picture of his legs captured after training on the pitch with the caption "Knee problems right" followed by laughing emojis. The post suggests that the Morrocco international's failed move to the Saudi Pro League was not due to a knee problem. Neither Ziyech, nor Chelsea have talked about the speculations following the halt of his transfer.
After agreeing on personal terms, the 30-year-old's contract with he Middle Eastern side was expected to run through 2026. Yet, the agreement collapsed at the end of June, marking the second consecutive hijacked deal for the Moroccan. In January 2023, Ziyech's move to PSG was also canceled, but this time the blame was on Chelsea. It was revealed that the London Blues failed to file the necessary papers on time for the contract to happen before the end of the transfer window.
