Hakim Ziyech's potential shirt number at Chelsea

Ajax star Hakim Ziyech will officially become a Chelsea player this summer. The Morocco international's £33.4m move from Ajax which could potentially increase to a maximum of £36.7m with variable factors will go through on July 1, 2020. But Ziyech will need to earmarked a squad number. At Ajax, he's worn the no.22 shirt. He also worn no.10 for his national team and currently wears no.7. One of the available numbers is no.6. It's the number of Danny Drinkwater, who is currently on loan at Aston Villa. Ziyech could also be given the no.10 shirt. Eden Hazard wore that shirt before his move to Real Madrid. Willian currently wears the number, however, he could leave the club. Tiemoue Bakayoko, who currently on loan at AS Monaco, could leave his shirt number to Ziyech and it's no.14. No.15 could also be a possible number as Victor Moses is currently on loan at Fenerbahce. No.16 is another potential option for a new signing with Kenedy out on loan once again. Davide Zappacosta's loan move to AS Roma has been disrupted by injury, but his squad no.21 at the Bridge is currently vacant. Although the No.25 shirt has not been officially retired by the club, but it's vacant since Gianfranco Zola left the club in 2013. John Terry's No.26 may well be left vacant following his spell at Stamford Bridge. Andreas Christensen's move to the no.4 has left the no.27 vacant. No.30, meanwhile, became vacant when David Luiz joined Arsenal in the summer. And the No.32 shirt has been vacant following Marco Amelia's departure in 2016.
