Tottenham star Harry Kane has broken the silence following England's loss to France national team in World Cup the quarter-finals on Saturday.
The Three Lions faced a 2 - 1 defeat to the Blues, with Aurélien Tchouaméni and Olivier Giroud scoring the winning goals for their team.
England were handed two penalty shots during the clash. Kane successfully scored the first but missed the second one which caused the team a heartbreaking loss.
Following the game, Kane took to Instagram to share his feelings with the fans, writing:
"Absolutely gutted. We’ve given it everything and it’s come down to a small detail which I take responsibility for. There’s no hiding from it, it hurts and it’ll take some time to get over it but that’s part of sport.
"Now it’s about using the experience to be mentally and physically stronger for the next challenge. Thanks for all the support throughout the tournament - it means a lot."
